Creating a Life of Fulfillment by Alma Wellbeing

The Idea of “Deciding Again”

Decisions are our point of power. They are the steering wheel of our lives, shaping how we relate to ourselves and the direction we choose to go. "Deciding again" is a concept I encourage you to engage in each year: decide again everything in your life, who you want to be, your goals, where you want to live, the clothes you wear, even your hairstyle. This keeps you fresh and alive.

If you're committed to growth, you evolve, and that means who you are this year may be different from who you were last year. Reconsidering your future, without being burdened by your past decisions, is essential. It's challenging not to live from old patterns and identities, but this is how real growth and success begin. Reclaim your life by deciding regularly, not by living on autopilot.

It's a really powerful exercise to own your life by deciding regularly, and not by living by default.

Want What You Have

Many people don’t truly know what they want. I was one of them, until I realized I didn’t even know what kind of flowers I liked. That started an amazing journey of discovering what I really want, from a place of freedom, self-awareness, and joy.

One exercise I recommend is writing down everything you want (I have a minimum of 25 things). At first, my list was full of things I didn’t yet have. We often approach desire from scarcity. But then, I flipped the script, and wrote down everything I want that I already have (including things that we take for granted, clean drinking water, choice of a meal, a warm and safe space to live).

This changed everything. The feeling wasn't just gratitude; it was desire, but from a place of abundance. I realized I truly want the life I've created: my freedom with food, my relationships, my rituals, my work. This doesn’t mean you stop wanting more, but when you want what you already have, you reconnect with your power. And just like "deciding again," this helps you reevaluate what you still want and what you may no longer need.

“Cultivate Extraordinary Goals.”

The third concept is to cultivate extraordinary goals, impossible, amazing goals that invite you to grow and evolve and to become deeper into your own capacity. Let your dreams be a source of energy, contentment, excitement, joy and inspiration. Never use your goals against yourself, or  as a reason to discount yourself or doubt yourself because you haven't achieved them yet.

You wanted to cultivate these extraordinary goals from a place of satisfaction; Where the satisfaction of your current life feels like how you feel after you've eaten a great meal! That It feels like you've met your own expectations, your needs. You are complete in some way. When you want what you already have, you generate a sense of desire from a sense of abundance, from a place of already being satisfied. It's kind of like grocery shopping after you've eaten or planning a meal after you've eaten. There's no feeling of intense hunger that is needed in order for you to calmly pursue the life of your dreams.

Because if you start with satisfaction and you end with satisfaction, you are doing it right.
